Sugarbush springs from the heart of artist Phoebe Middleton and her partner Don Reid. Their creativity manifests in Phoebe’s bold, joyful printmaking, floral styling, and workshops. Together they share the love of making, cherish the value of slowing down, creating with one’s hands and appreciating one’s surrounds.
Phoebe’s linocut prints distil beauty around her into its essence – stylising and simplifying the subject, storytelling through bold symbolism. Phoebe’s former career as animation designer and graphic artist informs her strong style while a decade conceiving and hosting workshops at Sturt, Australia’s pioneering design centre and school for contemporary craft helps her bring outstanding immersive workshops to life.
